The Seven 165 is the entry point into Caterham’s 2015 range and with a price tag starting at AED 125995* it offers the perfect start to your Caterham Driving career in both accessibility and affordability.
With its live-axle rear suspension, compact engine and lightweight chassis, the Seven 160 heeds back to Colin Chapman’s original, pioneering vision for the sportscar and places an exciting, intuitive driving experience at the heart of its design.
The live-axle is a throwback to the early Sevens in terms of its simplicity and purity of design, while a lower body weight embodies the original philosophy of ‘adding lightness’.Complementing Caterham’s legendary handling characteristics, the innovative use of a super-compact 660cc Suzuki engine places the emphasis of this car on charm and rather than outright power.
The three-cylinder, turbocharged engine produces 80bhp, enabling it to accelerate to 60mph in a brisk 6.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 100mph.
As well as its entry-point price tag, the Seven 160’s compact engine arrangement also makes it the most Seven ever produced, meaning it’s never made more economical sense to join the Caterham family.
To enhance the driving pleasure, new for 2015 is the availability of an optional ‘S’ pack. Geared towards the casual road driver, the ‘S’ pack includes creature comforts such as a 12V socket, fully-carpeted interior, full windscreen, hood & side screens, heater, Momo steering wheel and black leather seats.
